Community Tapestry Artwork Showcase

Watch a collaborative artwork evolve throughout the festival with Natalia Tan, weaver, upcycling artist and co-founder of SG Eco Arts. Made from recycled uniforms donated by Cora Environment, the large-scale modular tapestry invites visitors of all ages to add fabric scraps and embellishments, creating a collective artwork that celebrates sustainability, creativity and intergenerational participation.

The installation also features striking upcycled sculptures inspired by Southeast Asia’s rich biodiversity and the mythical and natural creatures of its folklore.

PASAR MAD-LAM:
Creative Night Market

Continue your festival journey at Pasar Ma(d)lam, a lively creative night market by MAD bringing together local makers, artists and independent brands. Across three festival weekends, discover handcrafted goods, artisanal creations and unique lifestyle finds, alongside interactive experiences such as caricature sketches, henna art and gacha machines.

With a rotating line-up of vendors, including Meet Mito and Sara Street, there’s always something new to discover. Selected Capitol Singapore tenants will also offer festival-inspired food and beverages, adding more flavour to the vibrant night market experience.

Charm Workshop by Commenhers

Get creative with Commenhers, a social enterprise empowering underprivileged women through meaningful employment and sustainable craftsmanship. In these drop-in workshops, visitors of all ages can transform upcycled materials into handmade bag charms in under 20 minutes.

A fun and accessible way to explore sustainable living, the workshops also support Commenhers’ mission of turning discarded materials into purposeful creations.

Live Performance by Deep South Messenger
(Thailand)

Kick off the festival with Deep South Messenger, a nine-member ensemble from Thailand presenting a vibrant 30-minute performance blending contemporary music with traditional cultural influences. Through rhythm, movement and storytelling, the ensemble celebrates Southeast Asia’s rich heritage and the power of stories to connect communities across borders.
